Somerset Homes Redevelopment, is comprised of 4 buildings and the Nathaniel McFadden Learn and Play Park. 1234 McElderry at Somerset is 100% occupied and Somerset 2 and 3 are currently under construction, with scheduled completion in Spring, 2023. Somerset 4 construction is scheduled to start late 2024.
Somerset 4 – (The Blake at Somerset) – estimated 190 units mixed-income with 89 replacement units for relocated Perkins residents, is Somerset’s marquee building and will be anchored by a grocery store, bringing healthy foods to this food desert.
At 1234 McElderry, developer Dana Henson said architects and engineers added high-speed routers into the design fabric of the 104 units.
An eight-story, 185-unit apartment tower anchored by a grocery store is in the works for a long-forlorn corner of East Baltimore.
